In 1997 John and Geert opened the Garlic Queen: the first garlic restaurant in The Netherlands. Dutch media loved the pioneering concept. And Johannes van Dam, the most famous culinary journalist of the Netherlands, awarded the restaurant with a 9 out of 10. A dream start.
Now, almost 20 years later, the Garlic Queen is still going strong in the Reguliersdwarsstraat.
